DECEMBER 2019

I am very pleased that my poem "Creation Myth" has been published in the second edition of sparkling new poetry venture "Poetry Birmingham Literary Journal".

 

NOVEMBER 2019

I am happy to say that my poem "Where the heart is not" has been commended in the Waltham Forest Poets' competition 2019. The poem has been published in the competition anthology, and may also be read at this link:

Additionally I had a poem longlisted in the Mslexia Poetry Competition this month.

 

OCTOBER 2019

My poem "Peripherals" has been published in the second edition of exciting eco-poetry journal, "Finished Creatures", edited by Jan Heritage, and I will be reading at the launch party at the Crown Tavern in Clerkenwell on 28th of October. JANUARY 2019

17th January... I'm honoured that my poem, "On holding an ammonite", has won first prize in the WoLF (Wolverhampton Literature Festival) poetry competition, judged by esteemed poet, Roy McFarlane. The poem can be read here, along with judge's comments:
