Sarah Doyle Poetry

I am a poet and short fiction writer, and have held the post of Poet-in-Residence to the Pre-Raphaelite Society since early 2012. My work has been published widely in a variety of journals, web-spaces, and anthologies; placed in numerous competitions; illustrated; exhibited; broadcast on radio; and set to music. I have been a guest reader at many poetry events in and around London, and from 2013 to 2016 I was co-curator and co-host of Rhyme & Rhythm Jazz-Poetry Club at Enfield’s Dugdale Theatre.


I am, with Allen Ashley, co-author of Dreaming Spheres: Poems of the Solar System, published in 2014 by World Fantasy Award-winning PS Publishing. In 2018, I co-edited (again, with Allen Ashley) an anthology of creaturely writing, Humanagerie, published by Eibonvale Press, and shortlisted for a British Fantasy Award in 2019. I hold a Creative Writing MA from Royal Holloway College, University of London, and am currently researching a Ph.D in the poetics of meteorology at Birmingham City University.
