About Me
My poetry is lyrical, rhythmic and highly crafted. My concerns are far-ranging, taking in everything from classical subjects such as mythology and artworks, to more contemporary concerns like celebrity culture, break-ups, make-ups and domestic goddesses!
I read frequently at poetry events and venues in north London and in Hertfordshire, and I am a member of two poetry critiquing groups - Highgate Poets and the Poetry Society's North London Stanza.
I have been placed in several national poetry competitions, and my poetry has been appeared in various publications.
I am, with Allen Ashley, co-author of Dreaming Spheres: Poems of the Solar System, a collection of poetry inspired by the bodies and phenomena of our solar system, which we have been performing at various poetry events and venues, and which has been very well received. Dreaming Spheres will be published in late 2012 by PS Publishing's Stanza imprint.
